About Us

White two-story building with gabled roof, possibly a funeral home, with an American flag.

Our funeral home has always been a family-owned and operated funeral home. The business was started by John H. McCormick around 1880. Mr. McCormick sold the funeral home to his son-in-law and daughter, Paul L. and Nellie Laing, in 1901. The Laings continued the tradition of quality service until 1953, when they sold to their grandson-in-law and granddaughter, George and Norma Jean Robinson. The Robinsons upheld those same values until 1964, when they sold the business to Arden and Margaret Hudson. The Hudsons purchased the funeral home on May 13, 1964, and carried forward the legacy of the McCormicks, Laings, and Robinsons while expanding the facilities and services offered to local families. On May 27, 2011, the Hudsons sold the business to Dustin and Cassie Mumford, who continue to carry on that proud tradition today.

For generations, our commitment to family, service, and community has remained the same.
