Woodrow (Bob) Wates

WOODROW (BOB) WATES, III, age 73 of Millington, died Monday, March 25, 2014 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1PM at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 10AM until service time at the funeral home. Bob was born on March 11, 1941 to Woodrow and Lucille (Huttman) Wates. He retired from General Motors and enjoyed woodworking, wrenching on cars, gardening, and fixing appliances. He is survived by his wife Judy Wates; children: Woody Wates, Jr. and Rodney (Keley) Wates; granddaughter, Crystal; and brother-inlaw, Gary (Sandy) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Tom Wates.
