WILLIAM (BILL) ARTHUR MILLINGTON, age 47, of Otisville, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at his residence. The funeral service is scheduled for 1 PM Monday, June 4, 2007 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Otisville, and Pastor Dave Hensler officiating and Deacon Dan Zudel co-officiating. Burial will take place at Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 11-2 pm and 5-9 pm; Monday from 11:00 am, at the church, until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to the family. Bill was born in Flint, MI on August 5, 1959 to Howard and Virginia (Davis) Millington. He married Joan (Allard) Millington on November 26, 1983 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. Bill worked for the Road Commission of Oakland County Forestry Service. He also coached the JV boys and 8th-grade girls basketball teams at Lakeville. Bill was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. He also enjoyed basketball, golf, and camping. He was a huge fan of U of M sports. Surviving is his Wife: Joan; Children: Rachele (Keith) Hazel, William Millington II (Lacey Nichols), Jani Millington; Father and Step-mother: Howard and Earnestine Millington; Aunt Pudgie (Wilma Smith); Brothers and Sisters: Eddison (Cindy) Millington, Dan Millington, Richard (Cheryl) Millington, Ruth Halben, Sue (Randy) Goss, Mary (Randy) Rude, Mick (Michelle Wetherwax) Millington; Father and Mother-in-Law: Leo and Jeannette Allard; Sisters-in-Law: Janet (Jerry) Love and Jean Skank; Brother-in-Law: John (Dianna) Allard; twenty-one Nieces and Nephews; and Several Great-Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia; Grandparents; Uncle Al (Eldon Smith); niece, Andrea Hunt; and great-niece, Brittney Robertson. The family would like to send out a special thank you to the University of Michigan Health System, Dr. Mark Zalupski, and Dr. Michael Mulholland; also, Dr. Brenda Rogers-Gray, McLaren Hospice, St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and the Community of Otisville for all of their support.
