WILLIAM SCOTT HACKNEY, age 48 of Otter Lake, died Thursday, July 20, 2017. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 11AM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the West Vienna United Methodist Church, 5484 W. Wilson Rd., Clio, MI 48420. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Temple, 4240 W. Wilson Rd., Clio, MI 48420 or Old News Boys of Flint, 6255 Taylor Dr., Flint, MI 48507. William enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Tina; children: Scott, Kayla, Nathan, and Jeremiah; grandchildren: Trystan, Katheryn, and Maximus; siblings: Ginger (Kevin) McLeish, Terese Babcock, Elizabeth (Richard) Kujala, Ron (Teresa) Babcock, Nancy Babcock, Katie (Joel) Jones, Dean Gerwolds, Mike Casas, Joe casas, Kandice Casas, Carissa Alvrado, shelsi (Matt) Wise, Greg Gerwolds, and Jordan Gerwolds; step-father, Floyd Edwards; father and mother in-law: Janet and Mike Gerwolds and Ronald Jr. and Kathy Babcock; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Edwards and brother, Floyd Edwards.
