William "Bill" Gaines

WILLIAM "BILL" GAINES, age 73 of Hale, formerly of Lapeer, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Mary's of Saginaw. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Mumford- Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hollenbeck Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 1PM-8PM, at the funeral home. Bill was born on June 28, 1944 to Pete and Lois (Riley) Gaines. He was a proud member of the NRA and UAW Local 653. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, going camping and watching movies. He is survived by his son, Rob (Trisa) Gaines; grandchildren: Amanda (John) Oberry and Little Rob (Felicia) Gaines; great-grandchildren: Maci, Landon, Jackson, and Cameron; brother, Claude Bud Gaines and David (Jan) Gaines. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth Miller.
