William "Bill" D. Goad

WILLIAM D. "BILL" GOAD age 69, of Otisville, died Thursday October 15, 2020 at his residence. His funeral service will be at 1PM on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith Hill cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1-5 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Genesee Road Church of God 4344 N. Genesee Rd, Flint, MI 48506. Bill was born in Flint, MI on July 13, 1951 to W.D. and Selby (Benjamin) Goad. He married Lila Chilner on December 11, 1970. He has been a resident in Otisville since 1980. He worked with his father and brother in Goad Excavating since his youth. Then started his own businesses, Goad Trucking and B&L Lawn and Garden. In 1985, he hired into Buick as a machine repairman until his retirement in 2010. Surviving is his wife Lila, daughter Rachel (Michael) Ray, grandchildren William and Guinevere, brother Jim (Patricia) Goad, sister Kathy (John) Horton, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
