Bill lived to spend time with his first love and wife, Janeen: enjoying every moment while also cherishing where their life began in the summer of "77 to the final chapter fulfilled in 2014. He cherished time with family and friends: those holiday gatherings, traditional July 4th parties, the annual tribute ride for his loving nephew/godson, memorable moments at the lake with friends and family, or simply hanging out. His infectious laugh, contagious smile, along with the need to joke and bring many a smile to all will be dearly missed. A few of his favorite things were: enjoying the sun upon his face gliding along freely on his Harley with his babe sitting right behind him, those memorable and amazing camping trips, the many of summers spent with family and friends with his hot rods-all the cruises and car shows, going to as many of the NHRA circuit drag races as possible and most recently spending his time remodeling his home on Long Lake. He was very talented and enjoyed a challenge, fulfilling his passion with the ability to personalize anything, always creating a unique outcome!
Bill began his career working for the steel mills, before moving his talents to Tooling Equipment International of Livonia for about 10 years, prior to retiring at the young age of 46 to care for his elderly Grandparents from Long Lake.
He will be forever missed by his loving and devout wife of 32 years: Janeen, exuberant and loving Pup: Nemo (Bubba), most loving Daughter: Valerie "Kiddo" (Howard) Cook, affectionate and loving Sis: Laurie Leduc, warm and loving Parents (In-Laws): Merle & Linda Wetherwax, fond and loving Brother's/Sister-in-law's: Kevin (Tammy) Wetherwax and Jeff (Brenda) Wetherwax, sweet loving Granddaughter: Emily, warmhearted and loving Nieces and Nephews: Bridgette "Bridgie Lynne" (Mark) Miniear, Jason (Amanda) Leduc, Bryan (Danielle) Wetherwax, Carrie (Chad) Peterson, Nickie "Nickle Doodle" Leduc, Stacey (Wayne) Gonyea, and Shawna Wetherwax. With those apple of his eyes being his Great-Nephews and Nieces: Brayden, Maddie, Zachary, Kinsley and Arianna, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill had many special friends that were family: Mel & Sharon Schill, Dave & Sheryl Kazmer, Roger & Susie "Fuzz" Leduc, Kimmie (Michael) Andrzejewski, Matthew "Mattman" Schill, Mark, Karen & Mark Jr Falk, along with far too many others to be named.
