William F. Bice

WILLIAM BICE, age 77 of Otter Lake, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Hurley Hospital. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Rev. Ann Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Hollenbeck Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 1-8 PM at the funeral home. Bill was born in North Branch, MI on July 2, 1941 to Clarence and Marie Bice. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodcarving, and quilting. Bill was an Eagle Scout and scout leader and was very active with scouts. He was a member of UAW Local #594 and retired from General Motors on October 1, 1999. Surviving is his wife, Marlene; children: Ralph (Tracy) Bice, William II (Renee) Bice, and Daniel (Dianna) Bice; grandchildren: Rebecca (John) Hintz, Rachel Bice, Brook Baker, Brandi Baker, Amber Baker, Savanna Desjardin, Alexis (Jordan) Matte, Matthew (Kira) Aitken, Alicia Bice, Heather Bice, and Devin Bice; great-grandchildren: Quinton, Easton, Kinslee, Lettyanna, Aria, and Braylynn; siblings: Donna Bice, Clarence Bice, and Barbara Holmen; and his dogs, Abby and Sassy. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Bice; parents; and sister, Linda Speas.
