William J. Benear

WILLIAM (BILL) J. BENEAR, age 61 of Davison died Friday September 19, 2008 at his residence. Funeral Service will be 1PM Monday September 22, 2008 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Officiating will be Pastor Herb Wheelock. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11AM to 9PM. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Bill was born in Shiawassee Co. on September 12, 1947 to Wendell and Jean Benear. He married Vickie Springsteen on May 24, 1975. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He was a member of UAW Local 659. He retired form General Motors in 1998. Surviving is his wife: Vickie. Children: Scott, Todd, Mathew John, Torri, William Jr. Benear; step son Michael Ross; granddaughters: Amanda, Mariah, Madison, Autumn; sister: Sharon and Fred Kondel; brother and sister in law's: Gary and Judy Springsteen, Jim and Anna Springsteen, Connie and Tony Grignani, Sally and Larry Spencer, Dan and Nancy Springsteen Greg Springsteen, Jeff Springsteen. Many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his Parents and brother Gerry. A special thank you to Home Hospice Advantage Tina Smith and all his cancer doctors.
