William "Bill" B. Hoard

Hoard, William Boulton (Bill) age 90, of Otter Lake/Otisville, Michigan died Thursday, December 24, 2015. Funeral services will be celebrated Monday, December 28, 2015 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville at 2:00pm. Burial immediately following at Watertown Township Cemetery in Fostoria. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to be designated by the family. William was born February 9, 1925 on the homestead in Otter Lake, to Arthur L. and Marion (Boulton) Hoard. William attended Otter Lake School graduating in 1943. He went on to work for AC Spark Plug from 1943-1945. Bill married the love of his life Ada Mae West on April 27, 1947. Bill went on to work for Genesee Dairy and Schroeder's Grocery before opening his own grocery store, Bill's Market (1948-1967) following by Bill's Drive Inn (1972-1991), and Otter Lake "Cat Shack" Snowmobiles (1973-1975) all in Otter Lake, Michigan. Bill was a very hard worker giving him the opportunity to have owned more than 7 boats and 23 cars/trucks throughout his life. He was a life time member of the Mustang Club of Mid-Michigan and a long time winter resident of Alameda Isles in Englewood, Florida.
Bill is survived by: wife of 69 years; Ada (West) Hoard; children, Susan (Robert) Seidell and William (Connie) Hoard; 4 grandchildren; Timothy (Stephanie) Seidell, Brad (Tonya) Seidell, Gregory (Christine) Hoard and Kathryn (Andrew) Snyder; 8 great-grandchildren, Taylor (Austin), Madison, Grant, Jason, Marcus, Gabbi, Ace, and Raegan; and a host of friends in Michigan, as well as, Englewood/Alameda Isles, Florida.
