Virginia Josephine Leginski

VIRGINIA JOSEPHINE LEGINSKI, age 90, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Stonegate in Lapeer. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Virginia was born on March 18, 1930 to Walter and Hedwig Lipinski. She lived in Detroit for 70 years before moving to Canton.  She spent this past year living in Lapeer. Virginia enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, and playing cards.  She was a warm, generous, fun-loving lady, who above all else simply loved her family.  She is survived by her four children: Michael (Sherry) Leginski, Karen (Christopher) Yagley, Edward Leginski, and Christine (Carl) Schultz; four grandchildren: Katie, Nicole, Mark, and Joel; and her brother, Stanley Lipinski.  Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leginski and siblings: Lottie Glowski, Tofil Lopinski, John Lipinski, Hank Lipinski, and Walter Lipinski.
