Virginia Leads

VIRGINIA LEADS, age 93 of Otter Lake, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, 17116 Olympia, Redford Charter Twp., MI 48240, with Rev. Fr. Socorro officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Virginia was born in Detroit, MI on December 16, 1927 to Joseph and Mary Leads. She was very active in her church. Virginia worked at Woolworth's for many years, while living in Redford Twp., before moving to Otter Lake in 2011. She enjoyed gardening, doing word searches, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sister, Florence Leads; sister in-law; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Dorothy Leads, Eugene Leads, and Ralph Leads; sister in-law, Joyce Leads; and nephew, Dennis Leads.
