Vincent Sagnelli

VINCENT SAGNELLI, age 92 of Otter Lake, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at his residence. According to his wishes, there will be a graveside service on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Flint Memorial Park. Friends and family will gather at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home at 10AM to go the cemetery in procession. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fostoria United Methodist Church or to any VFW. Vincent was born on March 30, 1922 to Palmerino and Antonetta (Santanastasio) Sagnelli. He was a member of the Fostoria United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed helping out with spaghetti dinners. He was also a member of the VFW and the MSU Alumni Association. Vincent enjoyed making birthday cards for people and spending time outside in the yard. Surviving is his wife, Ethel (Stiles); children: Rebecca M. Sagnelli, Michael J. Sagnelli, and Sharon L. (John) Murphy; grandchildren: James Murphy and Mary Murphy; sister-in-law, Jennifer Sagnelli; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane H. Sagnelli; parents; brothers: Alfonso Sagnelli and Palmerino Sagnelli; and sister, Antoinette Vargas.
