Victor Gifford

Victor Gifford of Otter Lake, age 77 died Tuesday January 23, 2007 at Brian's House, Davison. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday January 27, 2007 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Pastor Jim Salo will officiate. Burial will be in Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-9 PM, Thursday and Friday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Contributions may be made to Brian's House. Vic was born December 19, 1929 in Otter Lake, MI. to Richard L. and Marie B.(Giosso) Gifford. He was a U. S. Army veteran, Member of the American Legion, Otter Lake Rhythm Rotters, and affiliated with Vassar Golf & Country Club also was a previous Otter Lake Village Council member. Vic enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, attending all of his grandchildren sporting events and working in the sugar bush at LakeVille Schools. Vic retired from the U.S. Post Office and LakeVille Schools Transportation Dept. He is survived by his children: Vicki and Eddie Church, Cindy and Tom Alsup, Barbara Goddard, Bob and Tina Gifford, Brenda Bain, Tony Gifford and Lisa Hagar; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren;
brother: Bob Gifford; sister: Rosie Candela; uncle: Don Giosso; several nieces and nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Winona Gifford and son Rod Gifford.
