Vera M. Neph

VERA M. NEPH, age 82 of Sandusky, formerly of Otisville, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Vera was born on April 26, 1934, the daughter of Daniel and Vera Neph. She enjoyed talking on the phone, shopping, going out to eat, and taking care of her bird, "Cocky." She is survived by her children: Teresa Cook, Daniel Phillips, Thomas Phillips, and Vera Phillips; grandchildren: Lacey, John, Carl, Earl, David, Rebecca, Sarah, Stephany, Nicholas, Thomas, Brandon, Sophia, Robby, Jessica, Douglas, Kimberly, And Holly; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sisters: Maxine and Pauline. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Cook; parents; and siblings: Bill, Jim, Angus, Mary, Marian, and Jack.
