Varian Dean Traver

Varian D. Traver, age 88 of Otisville, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his home. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville, MI 48463. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 3-7PM at the Mumford Hudson Funeral Home, Otisville. Varian was born on Sept. 3, 1933 to Clayton and Clara Traver in Otisville. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing for bluegills and hunting, especially for squirrels and woodchuck. Varian is survived by sons: Mark (Kristyne) Traver and Mike Traver; daughter, Tammera (Spencer) Prescott; grandchildren: Travis (Kari) Prescott, Dustin (Jade) Traver, Nichole (Eric) Zimmerman and Stephen Prescott; 8 great grandchildren; special nephew, Robert (June) Blue; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Barbara A (Lutze) Traver; parents; and 6 siblings
