"Tyke" Larry Griswold

LARRY "TYKE" GRISWOLD, age 80 of Otisville, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Ascension Genesys. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Kay Leitelt officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 3-8PM at the funeral home and on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 10AM until the time of his service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Otisville United Methodist Church. Tyke was born in Otisville, MI on June 24, 1938 to Delmer and Leila Griswold. He was a member of the UAW Local 659 and Otisville United Methodist Church, where he was on the board of trustees and the building committee. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with his dog, Millie. He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Linda (Matt) Doty; grandchildren: Ryan (Briane) Griswold, Ben Doty, Jamie Doty, Alyssa Ashley, and Arielle Dodson; great-grandchildren: Greyson and Aubrey; daughter-in-law, Lisa Raisor; brother, Erwin Griswold; sister-in-law, Pat Griswold; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as special friends Ken and Theresa Banyas. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Griswold; brother, Jim Griswold; and sister-in-law, Barbara Griswold.
