Trenton M. Gurd

TRENTON M. GURD , age 16 of Davison, died Friday, July 10, 2020.  His funeral service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 1-3PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.  Trent was born August 1, 2003 to Michael and Michelle Gurd.  He was fun loving, kind, adventurous, and outgoing.  He had a wonderful laugh and always tried to make others laugh with him.  Trent enjoyed playing baseball and was skilled in every sport he ever played.  He loved being outdoors, riding his bike, fishing, camping, lighting fireworks, and hanging out at bonfires.  On vacation last year he discovered a love of boogie boarding, which he did very well.  He also had a love for all animals and was quick to try and catch any snake he came across.  Trent loved his mom's homemade cooking and chicken wings.  He also enjoyed cooking for himself, especially egg sandwiches, which he burnt quite often.  He liked writing music and listening to it at high a volume at all times.  He enjoyed playing Black Ops and especially hanging out with his friends.  Trent is survived by his mom, Michelle; sister, Lillyan; Jerry Fleming; grandparents:  Cheryl and Charles Brewer and Mike and Wendy Gurd; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dogs Chuy and Gigi.  He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Gurd Jr.
