Thomas A. Defina

Thomas A. DeFina, age 86 of Fenton, died on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Symphony of Linden. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501 St Jude PL Memphis TN 38105-9959

Tom was born on June 12, 1937 in Cliffside Park, NJ to Joseph and Rose DeFina. He served his country in the U.S. Army and then served his community as a firefighter with the Westwood Fire Department in NJ. Tom worked as a mechanic for Pan American and Kiwi Airlines and was a member of the Holly Cloud Hoppers. He enjoyed traveling, boating, hot rods, and customizing engines of all kinds.

Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy DeFina; children: Dolores Anne DeFina, Stephen Thomas (Heidi) DeFina; stepdaughter, Nicole Merie Wheeler; grandchildren: Shawn, Luke, Jackson, Xavier, Gabriel, Jasmine, Kailani, and Morningstarr; brother, John (Betty) DeFina; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris DeFina and his parents.
