Theodore Carpenter

THEODORE J. CARPENTER, age 90 of Otisville, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Suncrest in Lapeer. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Sam Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 4-7PM  and Saturday, November 27, 2021  from 10AM until the time of service. Ted was born in Flint, MI on April 10, 1931 to William and Marion Carpenter. He married Marie Wright on March 3, 1951. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and fixing tractors and farm equipment. Ted also loved spending time with his family and was known for stirring the pot and sitting back to watch. He is survived by his children: Denise (Dan) Beeks, Ted (Sherri) Carpenter, Chris (Michelle) Carpenter, Virginia (Mick) Hitsman, Faye, (Jim) Warner, and Terry (Sandi) Carpenter; 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife Marie; parents; siblings: Jim (Helen) Carpenter, Johnny Carpenter, Irene Carpenter, and Dorothy (Alex) July.
