Suzanne Deckrow

SUZANNE DECKROW, age 73 of Millington, passed away in her sleep on January 18, 2021 at Medilodge in Frankenmuth. Suzanne grew up in Lapeer, Michigan, where she lived with her eleven siblings and parents, Harry and Shirley Davis. She is a retiree of the State of Michigan, where she served the community with her work at the Department of Human Services. Suzanne enjoyed crafting, baking, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was full of spirit and had a sweet tooth. She would never turn down a sweet treat. Suzanne loved traveling with her husband and family and will always be remembered for always staying busy and never sitting down. She also attended Charles Stewart Mott College, obtaining an Associates Degree in Computer Science. Suzanne was loved and cherished by all of her family and friends. Due to Covid, the family will not be having a visitation or service at this time. Suzanne is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Howard Deckrow, Sr.; children: John and Stefnie Deckrow, Jr. and Shannon and Phillip (Deckrow) DuBose; son-in-law, Doug York; grandchildren: Morgan Deckrow, Ethan Deckrow, Jordanne (Gavin) Evans Locke, Bailey Evans, Joshua Evans, Isabella York, Dylan DuBose, and Austin DuBose; and great-grandchildren: Liam and Addison. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy (Deckrow) Evans-York and her parents.
