Susan Lee Kennedy

Susan Lee Kennedy, age 69 of Clio, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive visitors on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 11AM until the time of her service at the funeral home.

Susan was born in Lapeer, MI on May 1, 1957 to Norman Gean and Carol Owen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. Her faith in Christ was the center of her life. Susan enjoyed spending time in her flowerbeds, gardening, making jewelry, thrifting, and decorating her house. She also spent many hours rock hounding and going to estate sales. Susan was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was very important to her and her sisters were her best friends.

She is survived by her children: Melissa (Daryl) DeRosia, Dustin (Melisa) Kennedy, Mandy Yager, and Kurt Kennedy; grandchildren: Trevor, Jade, Olivia, Raven, Jordan, Lily, and Ella; great grandchildren: Emberly and Rhiannon; father, Norman; and sisters: Teresa Byers and Joni Hislope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; mother Carol Owen; brother, John; and grandparents.
