Spencer Owen Soper

SPENCER O. SOPER of Davison age66 died Sunday April 1, 2007 at his residence. Visitation will be at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville Friday April 6, 2007 from 4-9 PM. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date with his family in Florida. In lieu of flowers the family wished contributions to be made to The Old Newsboys or Genesee County Humane Shelter. Spencer is a member of Clio Country Club, Michigan State Alumni Association and Old Newsboys. He retired as plant manager from GM Plant #10 Chevrolet in Oct, 1998. Surviving is his wife Dawn; mother Violet Soper; daughter Sheila and James Smart; sons Mark and Jamie Soper, Brett and Trudy Soper; beloved grandchildren: Krista, Brenna, Brandon, Camrin, Kaylee, Jacob, Nicholas; brother: Taylor G. Soper Jr.; several nieces and nephews; Mother-in-law Jane Jackson; brothers-in-law Jeff and Tracy Jackson, Michael and Mark Jackson Preceded in death by father Taylor G. Soper Sr.; a niece Tara, and beloved Sheltie dog companions Duffy and Jordan.
