Shirley E. Whitehead

Shirley E. Whitehead, age 88 of Davison, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2024. Her funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Vision Pointe Assembly of God church in Otisville with dinner immediately following the service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 11am until the time of her service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Alzeimer's Association 25200 Telegraph Rd Ste 100 Southfield, MI 48033-7443.

Shirley was born on November 28, 1935 in Flint, MI to Harry and Ruby Carpenter. She was a member of Vision Pointe Assembly of God church and worked in the cafeteria at Lakeville schools. She enjoyed baking and decorating elaborate cakes for many special occasions. Shirley also loved spending time with and being surrounded by her family, but most of all, she loved the Lord.

Shirley is survived by her sons: Aurbon Whitehead, Jr. and Dan (Diane) Whitehead, her grandchildren: Ron, Jason, Shawn, Jeremy, Amanda, Janelle, Heather, Amber, Cassie, and Melanie, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurbon; son, Randy; and her brothers and sisters.
