Shirley Monroe

Shirley M. Monroe - age 81, formerly of Otisville, passed away peacefully at Schoolcraft Medical Facility in Manistique on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Shirley was born on December 14, 1936 in Thetford, MI and graduated from Mt. Morris High in 1955. She enjoyed gardening, baking and crocheting for family and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Lester D. Monroe, mother and father Harry and Augusta Cregar, sister Barbara and brother Harry. Shirley is survived by her children Pamela of Texas; Cynthia (Peter) of Nevada; Rodney (Deanna) Gladstone, MI; grandsons Adam and Tanner of Gladstone; Ethan of Milwaukee, WI; sisters Doris Lutze of Otisville; Sharon Pyles of Mt. Morris; Roxy (Randy Brown) of Mt. Morris and brother Keith (Linda Cregar) of Mt. Morris; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. No local services are planned at this time. Mumford Funeral Home of Otisville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
