Shirley A. Canja

SHIRLEY A. CANJA, age 78 of Clio, died Thursday, June 22, 2017. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Spencer Snow officiating. Following the service, cremation will take place. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from Noon until 8PM at the funeral home and on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 11AM until service time at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Shirley was born on September 2, 1938 to Walter and Ruth (Barlow) Haubenstricker. She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing crafts, going shopping. Shirley also loved baking cookies and cakes. She is survived by her children: Victoria Canja, Candie (Kevin) Reed, Kimmie (Jeff) Reider, Rustie (Debra) Canja, and Tommy (Joanne) Canja; grandchildren: Bernard Bullard, Jr., Amanda Bullard, Brianna Barden, Erin Gulash, Alysse Reed, Kevin Cody Reed, Kelsey Reider, Megan Reider, Jessica Novess, Jeremie Canja, Joshua Canja, and Jamie Canja; Bernard Bullard, III., Marilynne Bullard, Hunter Bullard, Lydia Barden, Hailey Novess and Owen Novess; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Canja; son, Jimmie E. Canja; brother, Jack Haubenstricker; and her parents.
