Sharon K. Auge

SHARON K. AUGE, age 73, died on July 15, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center, after a long battle with illness. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Her memorial service will be held at 1PM on Saturday August 20, 2022 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's or the Humane Society. Sharon was born in Saginaw, MI on August 16, 1948 to Robert and Mildred Mathis. She graduated from LakeVille High School in 1966 and then attended Mott Community College, where she got her degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for the State of Michigan at Oakdale, Department of Corrections, and Escanaba House Health. Sharon resided in the Upper Peninsula for over 25 years and married Henry Auge on May 5, 1996. She is survived by her stepfather, Donald Nash; siblings: Dorothy (Larry) Hardin, Martha Williams, and Bruce Mathis; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Munchkin. She was preceded in death by her husband; mother, Mildred Nash; and brothers: Robert and Herbert Mathis.
