SHANTEL M. WORKMAN, beloved wife, mother, grandmother daughter and sister, age 49 of Lapeer, got her angle wings on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at McLaren-Flint. Her Funeral service will be held at 5PM on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Shaun Turner officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 11AM until the time of her service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112 . Shantel enjoyed snowmobiling and going to the cabin up north. She was a huge Detroit Red Wings fan and loved animals. She is survived by her husband, James Workman, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Misiak-Workman (Fiancé Steven Burk) ; grandson, Colton; parents, David and Geraldine Broughman; brother, Scott Misiak (Kathy Kampoitowicz); father and mother -in-law, James and Rachel Workman; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
