Sarah (Sally) Mae Hutchins

SARAH (SALLY) MAE HUTCHINS, age 90, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her Davison residence. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Oregon United Methodist Church, 2971 German Rd., Columbiaville, MI 48421, with Pastor Marybelle Haynes officiating. Following the service, all friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon at the church. Burial will follow the luncheon in Smith Hill Cemetery, Otisville. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 11AM-8PM. Sarah (Sally) was born in Flint, MI on July 28, 1925 to Gilmour and Mable Sparks. She worked at Frank's Nursery for 25 years and was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, bowling, and square dancing. In her later years, Sally devoted most of her time to sewing and flower gardening. Surviving are her sons: Lee and Lonnie Hutchins; grandchildren: Jeff Hutchins, Joe Hutchins, Julie Tinnin, Jan Vincent, Heath Hutchins, Kristi Loewen, and Charles L. Hutchins III; great-grandchildren: Jason Hutchins, Autumn Trantham, Madison Collis, Dillon Liesen, Tatum Hutchins, Kasarah Loewen, Travis Hutchins, Evin Hutchins, and Randy Loewen; great-great-grandchildren: Jody and Amyah; and dear family friend, Ana Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles; son, Larry; and granddaughter, Holly Liesen.
