Sandra Kay Norris Stroope

SANDRA KAY NORRIS STROOPE, age 72 of Columbiaville, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at McLaren of Lapeer. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service in her honor will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the West Forest United Methodist Church, 7292 Farrand Rd., Millington, MI, 48746. Contributions may be made to West Forest United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Sandra was born in Flint, MI on December 12, 1942 to Raymond and Rhea Atwell. She was a LakeVille school bus driver for many years and attended the West Forest United Methodist Church. Sandra enjoyed reading, poetry, woodworking, and collecting antiques. She is survived by her husband, David; children: Patricia (Chris) Wilson, Donald (Sandy) Stroope, Pamula (Thomas) Gruenloh, Linda (Todd) Colpron, Timmothy Stroope, Christopher Stroope, and Jamie (Rick) DeBost; 18 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; mother, Rhea Atwell; and brothers: Pete (Faye) Atwell, LeRoy (Estelle) Atwell, and Jerry (Tracy) Atwell. She was preceded in death by her son, William Norris III, father, Raymond.
