Ruth Tingley

RUTH TINGLEY, age 96 of Millington, formerly of Alpena, died Monday, May 1, 2017. Her funeral service will take place at 2PM on Friday May 5, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. Burial will follow in the Millington Twp. Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 11AM until service time at the funeral home. Ruth was born in Alpena, MI on September 29, 1920 to George and Edna (Erbe) Hibner. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, putting together jigsaw puzzles, dancing, and listening to country music. Surviving are her children: Kenneth (Mariann) Light, David Light, and Peggy Gross; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Phillis Minton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tingley; daughter, Pat; grandson, Terry; and seven siblings.
