Roger D. Newell

ROGER D. NEWELL, age 59 of Otter Lake, died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Forgo officiating. Burial will follow in Hollenbeck Cemetery. The family will be receiving visitors on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 5-8 PM. Roger was born on February 28, 1955 to Robert and Lawanda Newell. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed hunting, gardening, collecting, and talking to people. Surviving is his wife, Arlene Kay; sons: Steve, Greg and Andy; grandchildren: Alexis, Corisica, Emilee Justin, Chenin, Zoe, Corbin, Andrew, Mickenzie, and Samantha; and brothers and sisters: Brenda (Dule) White, Randy Newell, Barb Newell, and Chris Newell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Russell.
