Roger L. Draper

ROGER L. DRAPER, age 72 of Columbiaville, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at McLaren-Flint. His funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with cremation following the service. The family will receive visitors from 11AM-8PM on Thursday, February 2, 2017 and Friday, February 3, 2017 at the funeral home; and Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 11AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Roger was born on July 13, 1944 to Alfred and Eileen Draper. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Roger owned Draper Tool and Die and RJ Pizza. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Roger also enjoyed hunting, fishing, going up north to the cottage, and making people laugh. He is survived by his children: Debbi (Ben) Moffit, Michael Schultz, Gaynell McMurray, Jamie Draper, Kim Louinger, and Carrie (John) Clouse; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Lee Mascarro; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Mcmurry and Sharon Schlink. He was preceded in death by his wife Joann; sons: Richard and James Draper.
