RODNEY THOMAS JULY,
age 60 of Burton, passed away April 6, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center.
His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Mumford–Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. Visitation will be from 11AM-8PM Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Rodney was born on February 27, 1954 in Flint, Michigan to Frank and Margaret (Wilson) July.
He graduated from Bentley High School in 1972 and attended Ferris State University, where he studied business. Rodney resided in Burton, Michigan his entire life and worked at Seely's Drugs for many years.
He was a devout Christian and attended Judson Baptist Church.
Rodney enjoyed camping, farming, attending family gatherings, and praising the Lord.
Surviving are his brother and sisters: Lorne (Norma) July, Diane Ivey, Robert (Beckie) July, and Debbie Kidd (Mike Kann); and several nieces and nephews, who he dearly loved.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frankie; and brother-in-law, David Ivey.
