Robert Zimmerman

ROBERT F. ZIMMERMAN, age 71 of Otisville, died Saturday, October 8, 2016. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Otisville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kay Leitelt officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otisville United Methodist Church. Robert was born on April 3, 1945. He married Nancy Meder in Otisville on May 22, 1976. Robert was a career military man, serving his country in the US Army and doing two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church and Otisville American Legion Ezra Paul Post #321. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and spending time with his dogs. Surviving is his wife, Nancy; daughter, Rebecca Zimmerman; sister: Maryann; brother, Christopher; step-sister, Debbi; sisters in-law: Kathy (Jim) Garman and Rose (Dan) Parks; and nieces: Cindy, Carey, Kristen, and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Arthur.
