Robert K. Price

Robert Kenneth Price, age 86 of Otisville, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. His memorial service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Otisville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Carol Freeland officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from Noon until the time of service. There will be a dinner following his service at the Forest Twp. Hall. Bob's service was delayed due to the CDC guidelines regarding the Covid pandemic. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otisville United Methodist Church, 200 West Main St., Otisville, MI 48463 or the Forest Twp. Senior Center, 130 E. Main St., Otisville, MI 48463.

Bob was born on November 10, 1933 in Mt. Morris, MI to William Ellsworth and Lula Belle (Allen) Price. He married Lois Stimson on September 6, 1955 at the Otisville United Methodist Church. Bob was a prominent member of the Otisville Community. He was first elected to the village council in 1961 and served as president for thirty five years, making him the longest serving municipal council member in the state. He was a charter member of the Otisville Jaycees and was an active member of his church, serving in many capacities. He was also a member of LakeVille Community Schools Energy Conservation Committee, Forest Twp. Development Committee, Village of Otisville Downtown Development Authority, Genesee County Small Cities and Villages Association, as well as being involved in countless civic projects throughout the years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois; children: Jim Price, Wayne (Karlie) Price, Mike (Colleen) Price, Dan Price, and Kay (Steve) Bean; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
