Robert "Dennis" Merkle Jr.

ROBERT "DENNIS" MERKEL, JR., age 64 of Millington, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence. His memorial service will be held at 1PM Saturday, June 21, 2015 at Otisville Church of Christ. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the church from noon until the time of his service. Dennis was born on May 29, 1951 to Robert and Lois Merkle. He married Sherry McPherson on June 12, 1970 in Clio, MI. Dennis was an Elder of Otisville Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodworking, watching birds, spending time outdoors and visiting with his gandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Sherry; children: Trent (Molly) Merkle and Megan Cook; grandchildren: Lily, Gibson, and Aidan; and his mother, Lois Merkle. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
