ROBERT B. HOOS, passed away January 22 after a long battle with heart disease. Bob was born in Ste. St. Marie on October 3, 1939, the son of the late Rev. Charles and Erma Hoos. He was married to Donna in 1960 and had 2 daughters Robin Ricica and Traci Taylor. Bob worked for the Flint Board of Education, IMA, and Swadling Realty. He was secretary, treasurer and president of Local #383 for 30 years. He also was a Big Brother, volunteer for Special Olympics and Old Newsboys. He leaves behind granddaughters, Megan and Lauryn Ricica and Chessa Taylor (who he privately assured each was his favorite). Surviving are sisters Grace (Burt) Ange and Erma Hines, many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom and sister Margaret Porter. At Bob's request there will be no service. A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday Jan. 27 from 4 – 7PM at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville.
