Robert W. Coon

ROBERT WILLIAM COON, age 59 of Mt. Morris, died on Friday, February 10, 2023 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 11AM until 8PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Robert was born in Flint, MI on April 24, 1963 to James and Marilyn Coon. He enjoyed reading and playing on his computer. He collected comics and was a big fan of anime. Robert was a hard worker  and was never without a job. He worked as a security guard, truck driver, and at a sod farm.  Robert is survived by his sisters: Terri (Ronald Christie) Coon and Mary Jo Coon; nephew, Ronald Christie, Jr.; nieces: Tanya Christie and Christal Coon; great nephews: Devon and A.J.; and great niece, Liyah. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Coon; sisters: Victoria and Valarie; and parents.
