Robert Buckel

ROBERT BUCKEL, age 84 of Millington, died on Monday, August 1, 2016 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive guests from 2-8PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Robert was born on March 15, 1932 to Harry and Elizabeth Buckel and married Elaine Stroope on August 27, 1955. Robert served in the US Army during the Korean War and he retired from Saginaw Manufacturing in 1982 after 30 years. He was a 4-H Leader and carpenter, in which he built several houses in the area. Robert also enjoyed farming and deer hunting. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; children: Robert J. (Cindy) Buckel, Michael (Glory) Buckel, Thomas (Marlene) Buckel, and Steven Buckel; grandchildren: Chris, Kortnee, Derek, Sasha, Zackary, Nikoli, Lindsey and Alex; great-grandchildren: Isabell and Jack; and siblings: Russell, Charles, and Pat. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Edward and Judy.
