Robert "Butch" A. Calmes

ROBERT "BUTCH" A. CALMES, age 71 of Howard City, MI., died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will take place at a later time and date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the DAV, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 or to www.dav.org. Butch was born in Muskegon, MI on May 30, 1948 to Robert and Mabel Calmes. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to cook and spend time with his dog, Scooter. Butch is survived by his children: Rob "Bobby" (Steve) Calmes and Bonnie (Jeremy) Verran; grandchildren: Dawson and Kenlee; and sisters: Loretta, Patsy, Peggy, and Sharon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Matthew.
