Rick Thomas Kowitz

RICK T. KOWITZ, age 41 of Otter Lake, died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at McLaren-Lapeer. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at 1PM on Monday, September 9, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 11AM until the time of his service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family. Rick was a Jehovah Witness. He was a member of the Otter Lake Fire Department and Michigan State Fireman Association. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and being outdoors. Rick had a passion for fixing things and helping others, but most of all, he loved his family and making memories with his children. Rick is survived by his wife, Stephanie; children: Brittney, Emily, and Kyle; grandson, Parker; mother, Susanna (Craig) Beadle; sisters: Teresa (Tony) Elzerman and Melanie (William) Stacey; grandmother, Janet Kowitz; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kowitz and his grandfather, Donald Kowitz.
