Richard Glenn Hadden

RICHARD GLENN HADDEN, age 84 of Otter Lake, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2PM until 8 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Richard was born on July 22, 1933 to Ervin and Violet Hadden. He married Mary Ellen Torr on January 24, 1956 in Madison, Indiana. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; children: Anita (Charles) Davenport, Dorothy (Bruno) Moony, Ellen (Mike) Nieman, Eileen (Terry) Marshall, Celia (Ron) Draper, Bill (Linda) Hadden, Les Hadden (Christy) and Doris Hadden; 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Jack Hadden and Dori Bailey; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Walt, Earl, Donald, Daniel, and Leslie.
