Richard D. Clor

Richard D. Clor, age 82 of Otter Lake, died on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at McLaren-Flint. His funeral mass will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 10AM until the time of his mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Dick was born in Harbor Beach, MI on October 28, 1940 to Daniel and Marie Clor. He served his country in the US Navy and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the St. Francis Mens Club, and the Knights of Columbus. Dick enjoyed studying genealogy and woodworking. He also loved working in the yard and fixing things. He was always willing to help out anyone with whatever they needed.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Clor; children: Richard J. Clor, Michael B. Clor and Peter D. Clor; siblings: Dave (Bev) Clor, Ken (Adrianne) Clor, Mary (Gerald) Clor-Grekowicz, Kitty (Tom) Heilig, Terry Clor, and Russ Heilig; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Nancy Heilig and Dan Clor.
