Richard D. Barden

RICHARD D. BARDEN, age 56 of Otisville passed away Monday May 15, 2006 at his residence with his family by his side. A memorial service will be held at the West Forest United Methodist Church on Wednesday May 17, 2006 at 4:00 PM. Richard was born October 12, 1949 in Flint, MI, the son of Leslie l. and Neva L. Barden. He attended LakeVille Schools, graduating in 1967. He married Monica (Jensen) on April 11, 1970. He has lived in Otisville area his entire life and retired from Delphi after 37 years of service. Richard enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, and fishing. He was a devoted husband and father, who put his family first. He is survived by his wife Monica, his son Todd and wife Jumana Barden, son Lance Barden and Brianna Reed, his brother Kenneth (Jackie) Barden, sister Joan(Randy) Kippe, sister Sharon Smith, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to family friend Mike Alexander, friend Bob Wiederman, Pastor Jim, and the church community for their love and support. Richard is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, Brother Ronnie, and niece Ann Barden. The family is requesting there to be no flowers.
