Raymond Jackson Wescoat

Raymond Jackson Wescoat, age 74 of Otisville, formerly of Otter Lake, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center. His funeral service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 11AM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 5PM-8PM and on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from Noon until 8 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow his service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.

Ray was born on September 9, 1949 in Detroit to Edward and Mary Wescoat. He retired from Buick and was a past member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed playing BINGO and online games. Ray loved watching football and bantering with his grandchildren about it.

Ray is survived by his children: Lynnette (Dale) Carll and Michael (Tina) Wescoat; grandchildren: Ryan (Dakota), Logan (Chealsie), Zachary (Tabitha), Patricia (Anthony), Edward, Michael Jr. and Steven; great grandchildren: Avalynn, Zachary Jr., Jackson, Layton, and Camry; siblings: Edward Jay Wescoat, and Joan Marie Milner; brothers and sisters in-law: David (Deanna) Smith, Richard (Laurie) Smith, and Krystal (Joe) Myers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue; daughter, Amber; grandson, William Daniel Wescoat; brother, John (Deborah) Wescoat and Thomas Wescoat; parents, Edward and Mary Wescoat; and mother and father in-law, Clyde and Othealia Smith.
