Ona June Wells

ONA JUNE WELLS, age 67 of Otisville, died on April 10, 2022 at Henry Ford Detroit. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville, with Pastor Tom Forgo officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 2-8PM at the funeral home. Ona was born in Flint, MI on May 15, 1954 to Owen and Nola Scott. She was a member of Vision Pointe Assembly of God, Thumb Draft Horse Association, and the Shiawassee County Trail Riders. Ona was a 4H Rodeo Leader and she enjoyed riding horses, gardening, canning, and cooking. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Wells; children: Tracy Utley, Amy (Troy) Simpson, and Dianna (Daniel) Bice; 10 grandchildren: Jacob Hampton, David "John" Utley, Shyanne Utley, TJ (Melissa) Simpson, Justin Simpson, Zachery Simpson, Matthew (Kira) Aitken, Alicia Bice, Heather Bice, and Devin Bice; great grandchildren: Dallas, Denver, Drew, Owen, and Braylynn; brother, Keith (Annette) Scott; and brother-in-law, Estes (Jo) Wells. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Wells; siblings: Marilyn, Dave, and Elaine; and her parents.
