NORMAN J. SMITH age 68 of Otter Lake, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday May 6, 2009 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Pastoral Manager Sr. Elaine LaBell will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 PM until 9 PM. Contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice. Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a die setter for Lapeer Metal. Surviving are his brother and sisters: Lorraine Roth, Nola and Mike (Zane) Pyles, Rose (Bill) Vanaman, Dan (Virginia) Smith, and June Beebe; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Bill, Arthur, and Ernest.
