Nora Charlotte Sammons

NORA C. SAMMONS, age 88 of Otisville, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Hudson Funeral Service Inc., Pastoral Manager Sr. Elaine LaBell officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-7PM at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association or American Heart Association. Nora was born in Charlevoix, MI on March 07, 1922 to Byron and Mary (Brady) Bowdish. She enjoyed helping out around the farm. Surviving are her three children: Gail (Ken) Beardslee of Indiana, Bob (Aleta) Sammons of Otisville, and Dennis (Rita Biesan) Sammons of New York; Three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother: Albert (Lorraine) Bowdish; sister: Catherine (Arnold) Paradis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo P. Sammons.
