Nola J. Declute Templeton

NOLA J. DeCLUTE TEMPLETON, age 87 of Otisville, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Lapeer County Medical Facility. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Mumford- Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6-8PM and on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that everyone perform a random act of kindness. Nola was born in Flint, Michigan on December 31, 1929 to Charles and Lula (Gifford) Major. She was a member of the Otisville Free Methodist Church and loved music. Nola played the guitar and was always singing a song. Surviving are her children: Lynn (Chuck), Tom (Norma), Sue (Glenn), and Laura; stepchildren: Phyllis (Dick), Bev (Kevin), Bonnie (Dave), Skip, Jim (Evie), and Kay (Don); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings: Pat (Ken), Kenny, Gerald (Nancy), and Lanny. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob DeClute; second husband, Ron Templeton; and daughter, Linda.
